Doorways Into Cosmic Dread

A run of films where someone opens a door they shouldn't (a star map, a shimmer, a mist, a machine, a basement wall), and what's on the other side doesn't care about human sense or human bodies; watched together, they map how horror tries to picture the unknowable.

A mix of well-liked multiplex films and midnight-movie cult objects, mostly easy to watch but often gory and grim, best for a run of late nights when you want awe and nausea together.
