Romero's Dead and Their Heirs
A run that starts with Romero's farmhouse, mall and bunker, where the dead rise and the living turn on each other, then follows his shamblers into the comedies that grew from them: the pub, the road trip and Peter Jackson's suburban splatter.
The Romero trilogy is horror canon that everyone eventually gets to, and the later entries are well-loved, easy watches; expect gore throughout, especially Braindead's famously excessive finale.
