Watch these in a run for the same unblinking gaze on girls left to fend for themselves — abandoned by their mothers, circled by predatory men, and armed with nothing but their own nerve.

Three are raw festival-realist portraits and one a glossy mainstream hit, but all turn on the exploitation and survival of vulnerable young women — demanding and often harrowing, best saved for when you can sit with it rather than a comfort night in.
