Watch these together for horror from Korea, Taiwan, Japan, India and Argentina where evil follows rules: curses passed down through families, shamans called in too late, and possessions that spread like a contagion.

These are cult favourites passed hand to hand among horror fans rather than mainstream hits; The Wailing and Exhuma are the easiest way in, and the found-footage curses (Noroi, Incantation) and the brutality of When Evil Lurks are for the strong-stomached.
