The white dresses, the Botticelli-angel Miranda, and Zamfir's pan flute became a whole aesthetic — the DNA of dreamy vanished-girls cinema, most famously absorbed by Sofia Coppola for The Virgin Suicides. 'Everything begins and ends at exactly the right time and the right place' is the line people quote back at it.
