Sightlines v2

The next Sightlines, built beside the current one: every page renders from JSON on the shared chrome, composes the frame, and is promoted into the live site one whole surface at a time once proven on staging. Nothing here is indexed.

The pages

Built in slices; each on the frame described by the pattern sheet.

  • Browsethe whole atlas as a poster wall, facets beside it, the search module across the top (S3)
  • Aska question read by the planner, answered on the wall, refined in a sentence; each poster says why on hover (S4)
  • Resultsthe grid with a seed — a film, a pair, a director, a list; every Facets URL parameter accepted (S4)
  • Your Filmsevery way in — a list, a watchlist, @username, a screenshot, a CSV, typed titles — and the choice modal; produces a collection (S5)
  • Collectionyour films on the grid, only these or with related films, organized into viewing threads with the Shelf's group actions, the constant foot; the Read view — essays and courses, the influence web, kindred and lines, sideways (S5–S6)
  • Filmone document per film, served server-rendered with the crawlable parts in the HTML; the action strip, five lenses, the rail (S7)
