Zerozerozero poster

ZeroZeroZero is a multinational prestige crime drama tracking a single $60M cocaine shipment from Mexican narcos through a New York shipping family broker to Italian organized crime, simultaneously following all three parties across three continents. Based on Roberto Saviano's non-fiction book, it is structurally ambitious — replaying key scenes from multiple POVs — and cinematically shot, with a signature Mogwai score that functions almost as a character. The tone is unrelentingly dark and grounded, rewarding patient viewers with a gritty, globe-spanning epic that sits comfortably alongside Gomorrah and Sicario. It is an eight-episode miniseries with a multinational cast universally praised for its performances.

From the reviewers

It's beautifully shot, it has such a fresh, gritty feel to it. It's also brilliantly written, directed, acted, etc.
I really loved the mix between three countries (the suppliers, the couriers and the buyers).
It's brutal, realistic and pretty well done.
The pacing, the music, the acting, the suspense are all perfect, it's fabulous. I have only seen 2 episodes but I have little doubt the rest of the show will continue with the high standards already set out. Simply put I love these slow moving provocative crime drama's, which don't have the typical over the top action.
This blew me away from the first bar of Mogwai's omnipresent, brooding, lurking, evil, insidious, dangerous, murky, scary score.
