Sudeikis is so inoffensively handsome and manly, when he slaps on Ted Lasso's indefatigable smile and positive outlook he has even the viewer, who knows this is a complete work of fiction, believing in him.

After a tough day reading the news, the show went down like good medicine. I've never had that experience from watching a TV show before.
