My Name poster

My Name is a tightly wound Korean action-crime thriller built around a single electrifying performance: Han So-hee as a young woman who infiltrates the police as a gang spy to avenge her father's murder. At 8 episodes, it runs lean and mean — no filler, high kinetic energy, and fight choreography that reviewers describe as brutal and physically grounded rather than stylized martial arts. The show traffics in moral ambiguity, placing the viewer squarely in sympathy with a criminal protagonist while sowing doubt about the police around her. Its OST is independently praised, and its Infernal Affairs-style double-agent tension sustains momentum through the finale. Best suited to viewers who want action with emotional stakes and don't mind subtitles.

From the reviewers

The action is brutal, with sprinkles of gore. It's well shot and edited. Some of the stunts are novel and the lead actress can M O V E.
Special mention to the action choreography which is done in a way that feels like a sub-practical fight and not clean martial arts.
She manages to make scenes of a diminutive woman defeating several men believable.
I liked the fact that the series is morally ambiguous; most viewers will be highly sympathetic to Ji-woo even though she is part of a criminal gang; even her boss is sympathetic to a degree.
Special mention to the original soundtrack and background score. Couple of them are cardio worthy.
