Expected a disney-fied experience, but was as dark and as funny as the original seasons.
the setting, in the snow really made it stand out from the Miami based original.
I really enjoyed the first two episodes. I liked how Dexter's missing inner dialogue, that is very essential to the character, provides the necessary insights into how he has managed to suppress his dark passenger for so many years.
She symbolizes everything bad that has happened because of Dexter's darkness. 'Harry' as a guide functioned as a reminder of the rules he was taught, he got Dexter to only kill bad people, but that's not the role 'Debra' is intended to fill. You are supposed to find her presence unbearable because that's how Dexter feels too.
